Outside Time

This afternoon we went outside to play. It was so pretty this afternoon and knowing the rain is coming tonight and tomorrow, we decided to let them let off some energy by playing outside some.

They rode their bikes and scooters.

Even mommy rode C's scooter around a little. C was none too pleased by this. He had went inside to get a drink and I took it for a short ride.

E does not quite understand the concept of pedaling yet. She has a bicycle and wants to ride it so badly. She talked us into pushing her a little and she gets going, but then she just stops.

She concentrates so hard.

Then she sits down to pout about it when she can't do it and we will no longer push her.

Then, while I was inside, daddy took these pics of C up in a tree.

Then with C holding K up in the tree. I was assured this was with daddy standing very closely and within reaching distance.

Then C and daddy played acorn ball. C had a small stick and daddy would toss an acorn up at him while he tried to hit it!

K also enjoyed playing outside. She even thought she was a squirrel and tried to eat a few acorns.

We had a fun afternoon!
